The  SPIRIT COW  ROPE

vache_1.gif

In the 17th century, the villagers from Traame (western europe) get ready for the spring festival. Among the activities was a cow pull meaning ropes were put around the necks of cows and kids on blankets were given rides across the pasture. But after a few hours, these cows, with their necks now bleeding with all the strain, decided to take vengence on the situation and ran into the crowds killing many kids. The elders of the town decided to kill all cows in the region and to decreet `` no villagers may own cows and if one is seen it is to be put to death so that their spirits roam on the land for eternity.
